<measDesc>The polygons labeled as a wellhead protection area delineation are located with an accuracy resulting from the rectifying of the polygon location against a USGS topography map as the base map. The polygons representing provisional wellhead protection areas and low vulnerability wellhead areas have been located based upon the positional accuracy of well point locations. Well point locations are largely based upon GPS data with an estimated positional accuracy of + or minus 3 meters. Some well point locations were established via review and placement of wells on aerial photos. The positional accuracy of this latter data set is + or minus 10 meters.</measDesc>
